Sam is an in-demand interior and exterior designer, happy to working on single rooms or entire homes, with professional realtors or individual homeowners as well as commercial clients.
His largest interior project to date was a complete redesign of the Virgil and Abigal Crum House, a National Historic Home in the Alameda district in Portland, Oregon. The three-year project entailed removing mid-century remodels and collecting fixtures from around the U.S. and Europe to return the house to its original 1920s splendor. It is now a beloved home to a family with young children and a showcase for their heirlooms and art treasures - evidence to the fact that Sam's designs are site-specific, functional and inspired by individual stories. Sam continues to decorate the house during the winter holidays, when it opens to the public.
Through his business, Sam Hull Designs, he is a consultant to private clients, investors and realtors as far away as Florida who value his unique combination of insight and services. He can take the lead on a six-figure project or simply help the DIY-savvy with design choices.

"Sam was able to take the concept idea for Soluna Grill, without specifics, and give that concept real life. His design created, I think, one of the most beautiful restaurants in all Portland."
