Sam enjoys volunteering his skills to help a wide variety of non-profit organizations raise funds to support their programs. Among other projects, he has designed furniture, clothing and sculptures for fundraisers across the U.S., and donated his time and expertise to numerous educational institutions and organizations.
Additionally, he sits on the board of Portland Area Theatre Alliance (PATA), where he co-chairs the annual citywide and regional auditions - a process he revamped, with much commendation, this past year.
